Therapy is a shared commitment between you and me. I understand that sometimes it can be difficult to keep this commitment, and that life sometimes takes unexpected turns. My commitment to you is to communicate any changes in a timely manner, and only cancel an appointment in case of exceptional circumstances. I respectfully ask that you do the same.
When booking an appointment, please consider your other commitments and responsibilities, and once scheduled, make every effort to attend. If there are any known barriers to attending, please discuss them with me during the booking process or during an appointment, and we'll work together to find a solution.
Cancelling or Rescheduling
If you need to cancel, please call or leave a voicemail before 9am the day before the appointment. This will not incur a fee.
However, if you cancel after 9am the day before the appointment, you will be charged the full fee. This fee will be collected at the scheduled appointment time. Please note that rebates can only be processed if the appointment is attended.
Cancellation by the Clinician
In rare cases, I may need to cancel an appointment due to illness or emergency. If this occurs, I will do my best to contact you by phone and send a text message if necessary.
